Videoconferencing services for research collaboration
Abstract
"Videoconferencing" is a term familiar to many, but few use the technology day-to-day. This talk presents the goals of the ETH videoconferencing service and explains the problems faced. The technology behind the service will be explained and a short demonstration given, using the example from the previous talk.

Armin Brunner has a diploma from the University of Applied Sciences in Brugg-Windisch (Switzerland) and has been a staff member in the computing services at ETH since 1989. As the head of the communication section he is responsible for all computer networking and communications services at ETH Zürich.
