Newest results of research in natural sciences are rarely presented during high school education and take a long time to reach the public. Our goal is to present modern research in the areas of genomics, proteomics and agricultural gene technology to teachers, students and a broad public.
In order to focus the students? interest on natural sciences, different current projects are presented in an easily understandable and attractive format. Exercises can easily be integrated in an existing curriculum. Also teachers with little knowledge of modern science will therefore have a chance of discussing these subjects with their students.
In another part of our website, people have the opportunity to follow two current scientific projects on the internet. Regular interviews with the responsible scientists can illustrate new results, the progress of the experiments, but also the daily life of a scientist.
