The new web portal "myETH" provides students, faculty and staff of ETH Zurich with a tool giving them fast and easy access to the most important electronic resources they need. The portal went online on 28 June 2004.

myETH has two core functions. It integrates content from different sources in so-called Channel (content aggregation). It also provides the possibility of configuring this content individually (customization). In addition, selected portal content can be made available for specific target groups. For example, the members of a department or lab are presented with a predefined selection of electronic journals provided by the ETH-Bibliothek.

Going online completes the first phase of the project. Work is already under way to develop the portal further. In fall further channels will be made available. Focus will be especially on content for students.

myETH is an ETH World project, which has been developed by the ETH-Bibliothek the ICT Services, Corporate Communications and the ETH World Program Management.
